Unkya Cultural Eco Tours is committed to the security of all information associated with our customers. We have security measures in place to attempt to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of personal information under our control.

What information do we collect?
We only collect the bare minimum personal information required from you that is necessary to provide our services. To complete an order we must obtain from you; your name, billing and delivery addresses, delivery instructions, email address, contact phone number and credit card details.

However, if you choose not to provide us with personal information, we may not be able to provide you with the services you require.

How is my information used?
Any personal information you provide will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it and will not be added to any third party mailing lists or loaned or sold to third parties.

Your shipping address is used to identify the location you would like to receive your order. Your email address and phone number are the primary points of contact that we will use only if the need arises for us to contact you regarding your order.

We do not SPAM our customers, nor perform any form of telephone based telemarketing.

Registering for an account
When you make a purchase on the Unkya Cultural Eco Tours website, a customer account is automatically created; associated with the email address & the password you specified on the Checkout page.

Your customer account stores your billing address and allows you to view previous orders. Credit Card details are not visible or accessible in any way through this customer account.

Payments, Transactions and Security
Mini Mojo accepts payment by credit card directly through the REZDY website. Our Checkout is encrypted & secured with an SSL certificate.



Unkya Local Aboriginal Land Council – Cultural Eco Tours

If you wish to book a Cultural Eco Tour with Unkya Local Aboriginal Land Council, then you, the customer, agree that the following terms and conditions shall apply:

1. Contract

By booking a Cultural Eco Tour (“Tour”) with Unkya Local Aboriginal Land Council (“the Operator”), you (“the customer”) are deemed to have agreed to these Terms and Conditions (which constitutes the entire agreement).

In all cases, the customer making the booking shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions on behalf of themselves and all other person(s) named in the booking and who participate in the Tour (“the participants”).

2. Validity

Dates and itineraries are valid from 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019.  For any booking made beyond 31 March 2019, dates and itineraries are indicative only.

3. Our Service

The Operator aims to publish the most accurate, up-to-date information possible regarding costs, dates and times of the Tours listed, however, this information may change.

The Operator cannot guarantee the accuracy of the material published on our website and suggest that you use the information as a guide when making your tour selection.

The Operator is unable to guarantee the availability of any Tour on your preferred dates but will use its best endeavours to facilitate your request.

The Operator requires 48 hours-notice to schedule a booking for a Tour.  If a booking is made 48 hours prior to a tour date, the customer must confirm number(s) of tour participants and pay the tour charges in full at the time of booking.

We suggest that you contact the Operator direct to make a booking for a Tour.

4. Tour Numbers

The minimum and maximum tour group numbers are specified on each individual Tour.

The Operator can cater for group booking from 2 – 60 persons.

For a group booking of less than nine (9) persons the Operator may be able to offer a private tour, subject to availability.

The number of participants for all Tours must be confirmed within 7 days of the tour date.

If the numbers of participants are not confirmed, the Operator cannot guarantee placement of additional participants, but will endeavour to do so.

5. Tour Participants

As a result of Workplace, Health and Safety regulations, we are unable to accommodate children under the age of five (5) years to participate in either the Gurruuja Juun (Whale Tail) or the Gagaal Wanggaan Eco Tours Tours.

6. Fees and charges

  1. The customer acknowledges and agrees that the price charged by the Operator may be subject to changes and gives no warranty regarding the accuracy of the Operator’s current advertised prices.
  2. There will be no refund to the customer for incorrect bookings.

7. Payment Policy

For all tours, pre-payment is required within 14 days of booking date or 72 hours prior to the tour date (whichever is earlier).

For group bookings or for tours over $7,000.00AUD (exclusive of GST), a 20% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.  Full payment is required fourteen (14) days prior to the tour date.

8. Cancellation Policy

  1. We may cancel a Tour at any time prior to the tour date if, due to natural disasters, inclement weather or any other external event outside of our control, it is not viable for us to operate the planned tour.
  2. If the Tour is cancelled in accordance to 7(a) above, the Operator will endeavour to reschedule your booking to a mutually convenient time, subject to availability.
  3. If we cancel your tour and the rescheduled tour date is not suitable, we will provide you with a full refund of the cost of the Tour.
  4. In some cases the Operator may make alterations to a tour date, price, inclusions, itinerary, minimum numbers, ages etc. The Operator reserves the right to cancel, change, transfer or substitute any tour that you have booked, at any time or for any reason.  If you choose not to accept the alternatives offered, you will be entitled to a full refund.
  5. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you or any other tour participant(s) may have incurred as a result of your booking with us.
  6. You agree to abide by any cancellation policy of the Tour Operator as applies at the time of the cancellation by you of the Cultural Eco Tour.
  7. If you cancel your booking, cancellation fees will apply as disclosed below.
  8. A cancellation will only be effective when we receive written confirmation of the cancellation by email to
  9. If you cancel the Tour:
    1. Less than 7 days of the date of the tour you are required to pay 100% of the tour cost;
    2. 7 – 14 days of the date of the Tour you are required to pay 50% of the tour cost;
    3. More than 14 days of the date of the Tour, no fee applies and you will be refunded any tour costs paid by you (if any)

9. Modifications to your Booking

All requests for modifications or amendments to your booking must be directed to the Operator in writing to

The Operator does not charge a fee to amend or modify the dates of an existing booking if the request is received in writing more than 72 hours prior to your tour date, otherwise, there may be an additional fee.

All date change requests are subject to availability by our suppliers and/or service providers.  The Operator cannot guarantee the availability of any requested tour date.

10. Inclusions

Morning tea and/or lunch will be served on tours as specified in the tour description.

11. Departure Times and Pick Up Points

  1. You will be greeted at Scotts Head Reserve (opposite Ocean Street Diner – 6 Short Street, Scotts Head) and returned to the pick-up point at the conclusion of the tour.
  2. Gurruuja Juun (Whale Tail) Tour starts promptly at 10.30am and finishes at 1.00pm.
  3. Gagaal Wanggaan Eco Tour participants will be collected from the pick-up point at Scotts Head at 9am and escorted to Gaggal Wanggaan National Park. You will thereafter be escorted to Scotts Head Reserve at 12.30pm.

12. Limitation of Liability

  1. Although every effort is made, the Operator does not accept liability to the participant for any act or omission on the part of the Operator including, but not limited to, any illness, injury, damage, loss or accident which the customer or any other person(s) may suffer as a result of being a participant of the Tour.
  2. The participants of the Tour agree to release and indemnify the Operator from and against any such claim.
  3. The Operator does not warrant or represent to the participant that the Tour is suitable or fit for the participant’s purpose and the participant agrees to make their own enquiries with the Operator if required.
  4. The participants agree to abide by the Operator’s directions in respect to safety, use of equipment, clothing etc and indemnify the Operator from all illness, injury, damage, loss or accident which the participant may suffer.
  5. The participants will indemnify the Operator if the Operator suffers any loss or damage to person or property or incurs costs in connection with a participant’s breach of these Terms and Conditions.
